Project Overview

The Public House Group is a pub collective dedicated to restoring the pub as a cornerstone of its community—championing local produce and fostering a symbiotic relationship between farming and hospitality. While the pubs themselves embody a sense of heritage, authenticity, and tradition, the overarching brand was designed to feel more playful, youthful, and forward-thinking, with a particular focus on the modern farming revolution.

At the heart of any conversation about sustainable farming and food production lies one crucial factor: soil health. And where there’s healthy soil, there are worms—lots of them. Recognising their vital role in the ecosystem, we embraced this humble yet essential creature as a key element of the brand’s identity. The result was a logo that not only highlighted the importance of worms in maintaining fertile land but also introduced a sense of humour and charm, making the conversation around farming practices more engaging and accessible.
