Project Overview

The Department Store Studios is a local workspace and platform for business in Brixton. I took the brand from its conception to a fully operational workspace.

After having completed an in depth Brand Strategy phase, I uncovered the brand’s core values and created a visual identity that spoke directly to their target audience. I reached out to local artists to become a part of the design story. This solidified the building within the community before they had opened their doors and started a positive conversation in the local community and on social media

Alongside the brand’s identity, fully integrated website and members app I also helped The Department Store Studios hone their marketing strategy by generating a targeted events programme, a community outreach programme and a social media strategy.
